Wow Aresenal’s best performance this season by farrr hopefully its start as you mean yo go on
nice performance by Nasri, he needs to be more involved in arsenal game, he disappears a little when cesc is on the pitch…hopefully hell take confidence from this match
V proud to be a gooner tonight. Nik buried his ghosts very quickly, and Nasri’s goal was awesome…
fantastic, exhilarating display tonight, have you ever seen a team create so many chances? that was vintage arsenal we just blew porto away(lol), great display, full credit to the lads they were superb!
Awesome display by the boys tonight. No Cesc? No problem. I’ve been a fan of Nasri, but feel he has not yet delivered consistently on the pitch…that may be down to his injury this season, but tonight he showed hos ability and talent. Bendtner is the same. I like his cockiness, h just needs some more nights like this to put off all the naysayers & doubters. I love the Arsenal!!
The fact is that players like Nasri and Eboue are coming into some seriously good form. Its good too see Arshavin being able to play in his more natural position since Bendtner has returned.
Just as i said the other day… b52 didn’t get down on himself, was able to smile the other day knowing he’s better than those misses and gave us the hatrick tonight. love it. excellent overall. hopefully they ride this and kill hull on the weekend.
Great result boys. There were spells of lack of focus that concern me – like the 15-20 minutes before the third goal.
fantastic game by nasri, arshavin and rosicky backed up by bendtner song and diaby. a few dodgy moments in defence as usual but once that third goal went in i could relax. great response to the critics who reckon we are a one man team and should allow wenger to rest cesc for a bit longer to make sure he gets over the injury. arshavin man of the match for me just shading it over nasri.
agree with rgj – rest cesc a little longer. i think he’d have a target on his back (or legs) against hull. we can do ok without him for that one.
Реально задолбали срать в комментах, и ведь будут продолжать. До сих пор кучи людей заказывает подобное и еще больше за копейки срут везде, где только можно.
Good show gunners….keep it up.
Good to see Bendtner scoring goals.
Fantastic result and great boost for Nasri’s and Bendtner’s self confidence, but let’s not carried away. There were the usual moments when our lads just go casual and give away precious balls in midfield, creating danger when none was tried. Sol did not have a good game and it was good for Vermalen to cover up for him. Congrats all round but let’s keep focussed the whole game, and we’ll go far.
Nasri should deserve the headlines… Bendtner has got loads and loads of space to improve.
Nasri was outstanding…very well supported by Eboue, Arshavin Song and Diaby. Rosicky, I feel has more to give to our team. He was excellent during his stint with Dortmund.
And finally Bendtner…I thank him for saving my skin. Other day I posted a comment saying that I believe he is much improved player now. I think we need to give credit to Arsene for this. It is pretty clear that the lad is working hard in training sessions. Tis commitment was lacking on his part in the last season. Hope he continues scoring goals like this in the reminder of the season.
All the best to the Gunners for the remaining Champions league matches
Wow… Im speechless.. Everyone seems to be catching form, it s incredible…and all this performance without Fabregas…astonishing…
We are really a 4-5-1 and Bendtner is the main reason why it works…it lets Arshavin plays his natural position.. never was never a big fan of the 4-3-3, left us very weak defensively..
The gunners shwd wt metal they r made of…best performance dis season
O sorry, how did I forget Thomas Vermaelen…He is my favourite player in Arsenal (you can guess this from my name :)). The Verminator was at his reliable best yesterday (as always)…I firmly believe that we need a solid defender to partner him. Gallas is ageing and Sol cannot cope up with 2-3 matches per week. Silvestre nowadays is low on confidence and always need two-three players to cover him. Arsene should look to sign a good defender to partner Vermaelen.
Good performance no doubt, particularly some moments of brilliance from Arshavin, Nasri and Eboue. Nasri is the man of greatness against Porto. Wenger still have to do more on Bendtner. As a top striker, the goal scored by Eboue should have been him. None the less he lifted our spirits. Sol was a suspect, hope no problem. Up Gunners.
Kenny.
Ah..Bendtner the ever strongly confident man. Good workout for the man to sharpen his skills more. The world cup will turn him into a proper striker so for now he have to grind it out in the league untill Rvp is match-fit to start.
We havent had a heavy striker since Hartson that could play as a lone striker. If Nicklas masters the sole striker role, he could be a very good player next season.
I agree with some comments about signing another defender since Gallas is aging, we would do with a younger replica of Sol Campbell someone to outmuscle players like how Sol did it with Hulk.
Bendtner, Bendtner, Bendtner!!!
Yes, that is what we call commitment, his heart didn’t die when he missed six chances with Burnley, that is why we need not write off Walcot coz they both have the potential to make the gooners lift up the trophy.
it was all brilliant for all the boys, the speed was unstopable.
Vermaelen was the best player in the match with Porto.Porto played fairly.Ours Gunners had to struggle when they confronted with robust teams like Stoke or Bolton.Bendtner ,we have to wait & see for zero or hero.
I always maintained that Bergkamp made Henry the great striker he was. Without the Bergkamp magic supply line his tally dropped.
Has Wenger unearthed another bergkamp? This time a russian Bergkamp that can turn bendner into a great striker?
One comment Ashravin gets very casual and in so doing provides some of his team mates with some sloppy passes.. as for Bendtner … he cant pass at all – he shoots more stray passes then a drunk guy at a urina – but between them they are awesome! Well done guys.
We need more of this and we’ll have the league tied up.
Hans
That form and confidence brought to the EPL, will see us lift the trophy be4 the last match is played. It was a great show ofcourse last night.
With that confidence and form, we shall bring down Hull over the weekend.
Cheer up guys!!!!!!!!!!!
