Arsenal target keen on Premier League move

Roma winger, Cengiz Under is reportedly interested in a move to the Premier League despite recent reports linking him with a move to Bayern Munich. The 21-year-old Turk has been identified by the German champions as the long-term replacement for Arjen Robben, who is leaving at the end of the season.

Under has become one of the most sought after wingers in Europe after a number of eye-catching displays for the Giallorossi, especially in last seasons’ Champions League.

Reports from the Metro suggest that the youngster is interested in playing in England, and that submission has attracted interest from a number of Premier League teams. Arsenal and Tottenham have been linked to the player, who will add considerable quality to both sides. Tottenham reportedly had a £31m offer rejected for Under earlier this season but may still revive their interest in January.

Roma are currently struggling in Serie A but have still managed to progress to the next round of the Champions League, but they might be tempted to sell their prized asset if they fail to qualify for next year’s competition.

Under joined Roma in 2016 from Instabul Baseksehir, and has earned plaudits for his trickery on the ball, creativity and ability to cut inside from the right side in the manner of players like Lionel Messi, Arjen Robben and Mo Salah.

Arsenal are in the market for a winger, with Unai Emery reportedly a big fan of the player who has scored 5 times and created a further 3 in his last 20 matches.
