Arsenal FC Blog nominated for Best Team Site – Now help it win!

AFCB-Crest-100Recently I asked you all to nominate the Arsenal FC Blog in the 2009 Soccerlens Awards and I am delighted to share that the blog has received a nomination in the ‘Best Team Site’ category.

I want to say thank-you to absolutely everybody that voted for the Arsenal FC Blog. I sincerely appreciate the support you’ve given to this community as well as all of the kind words that were left in comments and emails thanking me for my work on the blog.

But now it’s been nominated I’m asking you to vote again!

It’s much easier than the initial voting system: simply go to the ‘Best Team Site’ page, select ‘Arsenal FC Blog’ in the online poll and click ‘Vote!’

It will literally take 5 seconds and I would be so grateful if you could help me out again.

Oh and just for the record I’m up against The Republik of Mancunia (United blog), This is Anfield (Liverpool blog), Barca Loco (Barcelona blog) and another Gunners blog, Arsenal Mania.

Thanks again for your support and I promise I’ll share some bubbly if I win.

  1. Lol at the best team sites. A Barca one, a Liverpoor one, the Manc one, yours and Arsenal Mania = one of the shittiest Arsenal ones.

    Easy decision there.

  2. Okay andy i just voted 4 u i hope you win.I cant stand d manc’s winning anything against us so best of luck

  3. I have noticed how Fabregas is different to other players of top ability. It is obvious that he actually wants Arsenal to do well. This is evident through his celebrations, his interviews and the way he embraces his team-mates, the manager and of course, the fans.

Having been to almost every game this season, both home and away, he strikes me as someone who genuinely loves the club. This isn’t just a charade because he’s captain. Now compare and contrast that to the Ronaldo of United and you see a self-obsessed player who doesn’t look like he gives two ponies about the club and is simply playing well for some medals and a multi-million pound contract elsewhere.

I’m not saying Fabregas is perfect (he is pretty arrogant) but Arsenal fans loves a player that tries (take note Ade) and Cesc certainly gives his all for the team. If he was to leave in the summer, you can hardly blame him as, despite his love for AFC, there’s nothing better then returning to his home country (unless he goes up the M1 to City of course…).

  4. I just voted, but Andy,i would like to ask how many times someone can vote. Is it once or what? Thanks

  5. You thoroughly deserve every vote you can get Andy!

Not only are you dedicated and have an excellent set of writing skills, but you’re constantly improving the blog… Superb effort mate!!

My ‘Arsenal’ bookmark folder contains about 25 different blogs, but there’s only two that I never miss a post on – and one of them is this one!
Also, this blog does without a doubt have the most enjoyable post-blog commentary and discussion – bar none.

Keep up the good work! Vote given (obviously) 🙂
