Club chief set to jet into London to finalise Arsenal January transfer

Borussia Dortmund chief, Michael Zorc is reportedly set to fly into London on Saturday to finalise negotiations for Pierre Emerick Aubameyang ahead of a potential move to the Emirates this month.

The Gabonese striker has been earmarked as a direct replacement for Manchester United bound Alexis Sanchez.

Reports from German publication WA claim the Borussia Dortmund chief will fly into London on Saturday in other to finalize talks with Arsenal for Gabonese forward, Pierre Emerick Aubameyang.

He was recently dropped from the Borussia Dortmund goalless draw against Wolfsburg on Sunday after he missed an important team meeting.

His antics off the field has left the German outfit hierarchy frustrated and could be open to part ways with the former AC Milan striker and could be open to selling their most prized asset for a fee in the region of £53 million.

However, it is believed the centre forward move to the Emirates is close after being dropped from Borussia Dortmund matchday squad to face Hertha Berlin tonight.

The 28-year-old has grown into one of the most clinical strikers in the world since he secured a move to the Signal Iduna Park from French side, Saint Etienne for an undisclosed fee in the summer of 2013.

The Gabonese attacker is known for his pace, dribbling, versatility, creativity, finishing, positioning, excellent heading abilities and also a counter-attacking threat.

The centre forward has featured in 23 games across all competitions for Dortmund this season scoring 21 times and providing three assists.
